President and Founder
Scott Allen is President and Founder of Lighthawk Financial. He began his professional career in the direct sales industry with The Southwestern Company while still a student athlete at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in their summer sales program. He spent 4 years with the company beginning as a salesperson and moving into management and leadership positions with ever increasing responsibilities.
After graduation he moved on to the wholesale textbook company Budgetext (later becoming Follett Corporation), running a regional territory in the West Coast. From their he began a 6 year career as a varsity H.S. coach in Football and Track while co-founding the start-up company Brandigent Corp., in the brand media industry in San Francisco, CA. Working with the Fortune #4 brand at the time Sears DieHard, he developed the branding campaign that became the DieHard Cooler (designed to look like a car battery) that sold in retail stores nationwide for several years.
In 2002 he joined the Fortune 68 company, Johnson Controls Inc. (JCI) in the Automotive parts manufacturing industry and held positions of increasing responsibility within the Power Solutions division were he developed as a principled, effective, and results-orientated business leader. In his last 4 years he was the Sr. Manager Business Development for U.S. & Canada territory with responsibilities for driving the business activities in the new division for the company in the multi-step wholesale division of the Warehouse Distributor/Parts Channel. Working directly with and supporting the efforts of Johnson Controls largest customer, Interstate Battery Systems of America (IBSA) in that channel. In 2008 he elected to committee member for The Leadership Development Network for the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA). In 2011 he was an elected membership into the prestigious Automotive Sales Council (ASC), a round table council for 100 of the top sales and marketing executives in the Automotive industry.
In 2011 he moved on from the corporate world to venture into the private sector & business ownership, with the founding of Light Hawk Security Solutions L.L.C. in the Safety and Security Industry. Wanting to expand his business into the Financial services industry, In 2014 he came full circle as he developed a new division called Lighthawk Financial, and became a reseller for Globe Life Family Heritage Division which was originally a company started and owned by The Southwestern Company. In 2022, larger opportunities developed with a partnership with Family First Life the leading insurance marketing organization in the United States and Lighthawk Financial has now become a National full service Brokerage.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He played college athletics and Lettered in Football and was active member of Phi Sigma Epsilon Business and Marketing fraternity. Additionally, his continuing education includes Johnson Controls Masters level work in statistical analysis and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, also trained in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Furthermore, he has earned a 1st degree black belt in Jidokwan – Tae Kwon Do, And holds a General Lines Life, Health and Accident License from the state of Texas.
Married to Claudia with a Soccer playing son JohnHutson, Scott is active in his community and enjoys spending quality time with his Family, Traveling to exotic destinations, practicing martial arts, improving his fishing stories, and following his favorite football teams
